Elite Programs

Elite Programs at UNSW Institute of Languages are customised courses and study tour programs for groups. These programs are tailored to suit the specific needs of each student group.

Programs can focus on developing English communication skills in a wide variety of fields such as government administration, teaching, business, law, medicine, social welfare, science and technology.

  • Groups may be integrated into mainstream classes
    or have their own exclusive classes depending on
    the purpose of the program
  • On arrival, you will undertake a specially designed Orientation Program which includes a welcome ceremony, tour of the UNSW campus and introduction to life in Australia
  • You will enjoy access to a range of services including independent learning resources, the UNSW Health Service, and sports facilities
  • Accommodation and airport pick-up can be arranged
  • Special focus excursions and field trips can be arranged as part of the program curriculum
  • You can enjoy the opportunity to attend lectures at UNSW by prior arrangement
  • Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a UNSW Institute of Languages certificate at a graduation ceremony.

Homestay accommodation is available for students and staff participating in the Elite Program courses. Students live with an Australian family immersed  fully in an English speaking environment and enjoy a cultural learning experience. All meals apart from lunches Monday to Friday are provided.

The Institute has a full-time on site Accommodation Officer to assist students and groups with accommodation issues. The Institute can sometimes arrange on-campus accommodation (January and February only) or hotel and hostel accommodation on request.

Groups participating in Elite Programs can access the resources of UNSW which include: Gym, Swimming Pool, Tennis and Squash, Basketball, and Badminton Courts, Football and Soccer Grounds, Restaurants, Cafes, Bookstore, Bank/ATM, Health Services.
