University English Entry Course (UEEC) The University English Entry Course is a UNSW direct English entry course designed for students with a very high general English proficiency who wish to prepare for undergraduate or postgraduate academic courses
Tertiary Orientation Program (TOP) The Tertiary Orientation Program is for students who have met their university entry English requirement but would like a more in-depth orientation to UNSW and consolidation of skills in their Academic English. It provides a more sophisticated coverage of skills expected for successful study at university, and makes the transition to university study a more comfortable and successful experience.
Pre-Foundation Year English (PFY) The Pre-Foundation Year English course prepares students for entry into UNSW Foundation Studies (UFS). Students who successfully complete this course will satisfy the English entry requirement for UFS to complete their enrolment into UNSW Foundation Studies programs.
Academic English (AE) Academic English courses are designed for students intending to enrol in university, University Foundation Studies, matriculation or TAFE College courses. Academic English is offered at 3 levels depending on the student's English proficiency.
IELTS Test Preparation (ITP)The full time IELTS Test Preparation course is offered in two 5-week modules. It is an intensive course designed to prepare matriculation, undergraduate and postgraduate students for external university English tests and for academic study.
